No TTM today but I did receive the ECW (original 1999) Taz figure I won off eBay and my nephew is going off to college so he gave me

something he is not taking with him : Image

I got it signed at a signing several years ago and gave it to him as a gift. Pretty cool he gave it back to me for my wrestling room.

News coming in from Sacramento is that the suspended Sin Cara was not at the Smackdown tapings.

Speculation is that Hunico from FCW was under the mask for Tuesday's match against Tyson Kidd.

As for today's mail. Got four pictures signed by former WWF Women's Champion Rockin Robin.

So on 10-23-11 I'll be getting Alberto Del Rio at a signing, and then my wife & I will be at Vengance at the AT&T center in San Antonio. If I wanted to get any successes either VV or IP how do I go about that? Sorry if this a dumb question, but I'm new to the VV stuff and have a hard as hell time trying to get sig's at the AT&T Center. Any help would be great.
My collection of Wrestler, Basketball, Football, Baseball & Actor Autographs will be scanned soon! Currently at 75 autographs & rising.

I got a return from Hunico about 2 weeks ago thru FCW. Signed the back of my Hunico FCW card in black marker.

You're in luck. This entire thread is required reading for in-person and via venue successes in wrestling. Check it out. It's like a "How to" book.

that may be true, but a lot of the newer topps cards don't sign well on the front whether it be baseball, football or basketball due to the gloss..

pretty sure hunico has just seen others do that to their wwe cards and he thought he'd do the same to the fcw card, too.

cubsfan is, once again (lol), right. The glossy stuff is horrible for autos unless treated proper and is why some athletes sign the cards on the back. The Topps stuff is the worst, be it, WWE, UFC, baseball, basketball or football. I guess the high gloss appeals to set collectors but when it comes to autograph chasers like we are it is best (in my opinion) to stick to sets like Heritage 1 to 4 and the WWE Platinum cards sign well. For other sports anything with a cardboard stock such as Heritage (these cards hold ink great) O-Pee-Chee, Allen and Ginter and anything that does not have a high gloss finish.

Those FCW cards are a LOT worse than the topps cards. I h e a few topps card signed that held really well...but those FCW cards? Forget it.

I have an extra set of those cards if anyone is interested in a trade.
