Yes I do send more than 1 thing - usually 2 - 3, & always have pretty good luck.
You are missing my entire point. This is not about taking a chance - you are posting amazing
successes that others will not get because these people know who you are. Post it's an amazing success but add that the person knows you/who you are. As u can see by the feedback here most fans she does not know of get items back unsigned.

I wrote to Cyndi and sent two photos. Photos that were near and dear to my heart. She only signed one. I am grateful but How hard would it be to sign the second photo.

May of taken 2 to 3 seconds extra of her time. The good thing is she does sign stuff for her fans. Just hope she signs the photo you really want signed. I hate a printed autograph photo, I got one from Lulu.

Maybe she signed all those covers because she was impressed with the collection. Maybe she had her own reasons. She may vaguely know who Bylli is, but he still had to send in his request normally, just like everyone else. He didn't get special treatment. Many celebrities do certain things for certain fans that they don't do for others, whether they know them personally or not. Depends on the celeb's mood, what they feel like doing that day, etc. He was lucky enough to get multiple things signed, not a big deal. He didn't mislead anyone. He didn't say that people would get the same success. He only posted the success he had.

It is a misleading post as he admits in another psot she knows who he is. He is not the only or the biggest Cyndi Lauper fan in the world. He did get special treatment (which is fine - jus be honest about why you got it) as it seems funny that in the past 3 years I know many HUGE fans of Cyndi's that have sent her very rare or impressive items etc.... and they still only got one & a few two things signed & the rest UNSIGNED.

People will read his original post & think they will get the same success when I know for a fact and as other posters on here confirm, they will not.

Get 100 things signed in one go - great!!! Just be honest about why the artists did for you what they will not do for others - that is my point!

Uncle already! Truce! Something...I think we ALL are missing the point of why we are on this website. It is to share successes. Period. So what if you know the celebrity? That is PERSONAL INFORMATION and does NOT have to be shared with anyone. These items were sent TTM and there was a long wait to have them returned. It is an amazing success. Period. When I started collecting back in 06, the people here were friendly and supportive and nice and respectful of each other. Since I've come back to it 5 years later, I have been discouraged and disheartened at the vicious way many posters (who are undeserving) are spoken to. Big hairy deal Cyndi knew this collector. This is a HOBBY, folks. A joy. It certainly is not joyous to read posts that out and blatantly disrespect the post-er because he/she may have inside connections. Completely out of line and disrespectful, in my opinion, to tell anyone what or how they should post anything, unless of course it is someone using this site sharing supposed successes but never seem to be able to share the actual successes and don't even know how to spell the celebrity's name correctly (ie). We should be celebrating each true success, sharing in the joy of the post-er, not dictating what they should or shouldn't say in their posts. Period.
