I got a whole set already of customs for the Destroyers ready to send out. I just want to see if the MoLos respond fast enough to my query that I can gauge whether or not more blitzes* are feasible for the rest of the teams. (I doubt they will make it out of 2011 in one piece.)
The Destroyers have got a veteran coaching staff in place- outside of Schottenheimer, that includes former players: Lionel Washington, Ed Reynolds, and Johnny Holland. -There's a few others that have some playing experience on his staff as well that I can't name off the top of my head. Some names as well on the playing roster: Pat White, Adrian N Peterson, Odell Thurman, Dexter Jackson (WR), & Maurice Hicks among others. They have a lot of unsigned NFL veterans claimed as well. Be interesting to see if they sign with the league when no NFL team takes them.
Got Kansas City Chief offensive lineman Joe Valerio, (a shade under a year) and UFL Commissioner Michael Huyghue (10 days) today. Been contacted now by 3 players over the past week from the UFL who liked my custom cards so much they wanted copies of their own so they could print them out. ^.^ Shameless self-promotion: http://lee.n8d.com/ufl/
*blitz- sending a bunch of cards to a team, addressed to all the players in the hopes of getting the majority of them autographed in one swoop. (Best used when you are after a player card set, a bunch of developmental players all at once, a bad team, or a small/ not very well known league/team.)
I think I am going to try sending just one out to the Destroyers, probably Pat White, and see what happens before I blitz it. I want to see how they are with fan mail, since they are a new franchise. I could hand deliver it, since I live about 10 minutes from their headquarters

Autograph collecting is a hobby of mine. It is not meant to be anything for profit nor beyond my enjoyment. I only send out to people I have deep respect for in their profession/field. I send out to the following but not limited to: professional/college athletes/coaches, actors/actresses from TV shows, artists/authors, voice actors/actresses, and any other random celebrity I love/respect. I try to respect everyone's privacy the best I can.
Feel free to private message me about anything. I'm always willing to help if I can. Just do not demand addresses/advice. Be chill about it and I'll definitely be of some help! Aggression and entitlement gets nothing.
Best advice I can give everyone about autograph collecting through the mail are the 3 P's: BE POLITE!!! BE POSITIVE!!! BE PATIENT!!!

Success for Judd Garrett former journeyman RB who played in the WLAF, NFL and CFL over his career. Currently on the coaching staff of the Cowboys. Included a nice thank you note and signed 5 cards.
Great set of successes CWill! I am still waiting on a RTS from Randle-El from Steelers Camp. I sent it out the day before he was released and still haven't heard anything. Just like leebo said, that's a long time to wait for a RTS. I hope they didn't just trash it.
On a more positive note, got a success that I honestly thought was a long shot. Tried to get him last year during camp, but the Lions released him. Longtime Redskins OL and Michigan alum, JON JANSEN! Sent on 7/11, got it back personalized, inscribed "GO SKINS" and signed my 4X6 custom in black sharpie. Now I have both bookend tackles, Samuels and Jansen, from the Skins. He is one of my most wanted, so I am very excited about this one.
