Who has been your best celebrity so far?

For me it would have to be Nancy Cartwright (voice of Bart Simpson and others). I asked for a Bart Simpson auto and she sent it. Unfortunately i messed it up and i wrote to her and asked if she could send me a replacement. She sent me a color version instead:) I asked for two more characters and her personal autograph and she did send them individually over time. I think i sent an email requesting the autographs but i did not send an IRC or SASE. She is a star and i will get round to finally framing one of the autographs:)

My favorite success so far is Leonardo DiCaprio. I wrote to him a few years ago while he was filming Shutter Island.

Gosh I have so many requests I was honored to receive back, it's hard to choose one. Some I've just been beyond thrilled that they signed my photo (Michael Crawford, Bill Cosby, Gene Wilder...), some generously sent more photos than I even asked for (Joseph Culp signed 3 that I sent him, and sent 4 of his own), and some took the time to handwrite notes or letters back (Jonathan Freeman, Barbara Rush, several Doctor Who actors, a Dark Shadows actor I had wanted to write to for 20+ years...).

Nope, can't choose just one.

I only have got like 15 authentic autographs so far, but my favourites are from Miep Gies, who wrote me a letter and signed an autograph and Geoffrey Rush, he sent me his own picture and also he answered to my questionnaire. First time a celebrity answer to my Q&A! So I'm very happy with it

Mine so far is Johnathan Goldsmith (Dos Equis Most Interesting Man in the World commercial and on the show Dallas)

I sent him a photo, he sent it back signed along with 3 other photos. He also took the time to hand write a letter thanking me and to "stay thirsty always" It was almost a page long and I could tell that he really read my letter because of the way he wrote back to me.

It made me laugh and it made my day.

My best ones are:

1) Norman Bridwell, author of the Clifford books. He signed my book twice, drew in a huge Clifford sketch, signed my bookplate, and typed and signed a letter to me.

2) Leslie Carrara-Rudolph, who does Abby Cadabby on Sesame Street. I sent ONE 4x6 photo. I got in return: my 4x6 photo signed, an 8x10 picture signed, a postcard with a note on the back, a letter back to me, an Abby Cadabby t-shirt from Sea World, a Sesame Street DVD for the classroom I volunteer for, and Abby Cadabby bracelets for the girls.

Elton John has been my best celebrity. I sent him a letter about 5 years ago when I was going to Riley Hospital for treatment (That is where he stayed with Ryan White). He actually had his own room there. Anywho, he sent me an authentic autograph within a matter of days. And I have gotten 4 more at random times since then! He really is a great man.

mine would be daniel radcliffe he is the best one i gotten so far. and also my harry potter singed photos some of the people i wrote wrote me letters back.

That's cool, very cool. It's a shame he doesn't sign VV anymore, just IP.

My favorite ones would be Luke Evans (very fast and nice VV response!) and the IP autograph with Amber Benson. Just the sweetest and nicest lady out there, and I was in love.
