That's very strange. Was there a reason for the RTS? Did the envelope say "Not deliverable as addressed," "Unable to forward," or "Refused"? I can't imagine why it wouldn't go through for you.

It came back as 'Not Known At This Address'. I'm thinking this is very strange too. Wish i had saved the envelope now so could post a picture of it, but threw it away. Will try again now

I sent a letter & photo and got a PP back I was gutted.

Have tried again and put more in the letter. It has now been gone longer that the PP "success" took so fingers crossed.

That's odd about the PP. When I wrote to her years ago...we're talking late 80s/early 90s, I sent her something to sign. I got it back unsigned, but a got a signed photo back (the BW photo Tabby sent); it's definitely not a PP, though. Pre-signed maybe...you sure it's a PP?

Are you saying anything coming from her is signed by a secretary? I want to know-I haven't heard anything otherwise concerning her autographs or I wouldn't have sent to her.

Hmmmm...I'm not convinced her TTM are secretarial. Here is a facsimile of her IP autograph from Autographworld.com and it appears to be real. That or she has one good secretary. lol

I have never seen any hint, in 20+ years of autograph collecting, that Angela Lansbury uses a secretary to sign pics. I'm not an expert, not pretending to be, just giving my experience.

Here's mine, which I must have gotten somewhere between '89 and '92:



It's definitely not a PP; I've scrutinized this sig with my glasses on and off, and did the "light" test (to see if the signature reflects light differently from the rest of the photo...it does). I can also see, when looking at the actual photo, the strokes from the marker and where it slightly "lifts" at the edges of letters.
