I sent the letter out in the last of the August months, really I expected no reply... because at the time I mailed out a letter to England, New Zealand, and two in America. Christopher Paolini replied to the extent of one typed page, wonderfully he answered all my questions!
A signed autograph not one of those printed pictures that come from those airheaded celebraties (Which at first looks like they really signed it, but really it was signed reprinted and that's all you get) I got my letter Thursday the 29th of September, and now I am very much excited for the fourth book of the Inheritance Cycle. Christopher Paolini sent me a letter, a signed picture and a bookmark. Though he answered my question about whether he would come to my state for a book tour. (He doesn't pick where he goes, his publisher does.) So off to another state I go for his book signing this fall.
It's nice to know that my fan letters are read sometimes.
So if you want to send him fanmail, it might take awhile, but that is because it goes to New York then Montana, but is answered gracefully and kindly.
