How many US stamps do you UK collectors put on your SASE?

A UK friend of mine wants to know how many US stamps you UK collectors typically put on your SASE's when mailing 4x6 items??? I told him it costs me .98 cents to mail my requests to the UK, so would that be the same or higher for you guys? based on price differences.?

Yeah I use 1 0.98C on my SASEs for a C5 envelope and 2-3 0.98C stamps on a C4 envelope.

I'm probably not understanding it correctly, but what does that even mean? If you're both sending the same stuff, it would cost the same.

Well I've told people in the past that I send $1.00 USD with all my UK requests, but people in the UK told me that wasn't enough and that I needed to include more for them to send my items back since the price inflations were different coming from the UK to USA. :neutral:

It usually costs me about £1.20 when sending my requests to the US and that's getting it weighed at the Post Office!

Wow, so it costs you guys about another .88 cents more than it does us! Is that if your sending standard Letter, SASE & a couple smaller photos?

Well it must somehow if it only costs me a .98 cent stamp to get there and $1.86 to mail back the same items. I was just asking for my friend so I knew what to tell him for putting stamps on his SASE's to get back to the UK.
