So... I sent the wonderful teen sensation Selena Gomez:
A poster (ALso signed by Joey King)
A LOR
A SASE

(NO LONGER VALID!!!)

Today I recieved a PP in a SFM envelope, none of my stuff returned (Heaven knows where it went) and was pretty dissapointed, I guess she got an overload of VV Mail and had to send out PP's.
I am also a little dissapointed because I never recieved my poster back also signed by Joey King. I LOVED that poster and thought she would send everything back signed because I e-mailed Ruth Eckerd Hall and recieved this e-mail back:
"Kate,
Hi! OF COURSE we will pass on fan mail to Selena Gomez! Just send it to ths address:
'Address'
We will make sure she gets it!"

Now, that confuses me. I guess they passed it along and she sent back a PP.

What does THAT mean?

Well, even though I got a PP back I am still happy that I got SOMETHING!

Sorry to hear about your Success/Failure!! My guess is that the venue did indeed pass along your letter & request, but Selena or her management kept your items and sent you the SFM pre-print instead. That's the risk we take when sending VV and were never guaranteed that they'll reply authentically. I'm just sorry you sent something that was already signed by Joey!!

You'll have to upload your photo via another photo hosting site like www.photobucket.com, as the uplaod feature on here doesn't work.

Sorry about your loss i guarantee the venue passed along your mail but selenas "people" are not letting her sign obviously i also emailed a venue who
told me straight out they will pass mail along but there is no guaranteee that her people will let her sign so i sent to her for the show she is doing tonight actually in victoria canada but i dont expect to hear back but it was just a photo i sent and i do have her autograph from a few years ago but it looks like the days of getting her autograph are over Remember in the future never send anything you are not willing to lose.

How long ago was the concert date, and did you ever write her at another address?

I can't seen them bringing a large load of PP's and SFM envelopes with them. It would seem much easier to just sign things than to have all that extra junk to carry with them from venue to venue.

I wouldn't give up hope on your poster just yet.

I've only wrote to a venue one time. two weeks after the concert there was over, I gave up hope on ever getting my pictures back... then a month and a half later, I got a return SASE with the pictures I sent, which were now signed by the entire band.

If there is a chance you wrote her at another address BEFORE the Ruth Eckerd Hall addy, then give it a little time. She may still have it with her and unable to send it back out to you at the moment. We don't know how busy these people are when they're on the road, so you shouldn't give up on it just yet.

Actually she sent to florida so that was awhile ago because she is doing her canadian tour now and she had time off between the u.s. and canadian tours so they wouldnt be hauling around PP photos venue to venue Its more likely after the u.s. tour ended all the mail was just sent to someone who sent out PP photos to everyone but its possible after all the touring is over she might sign some of it but i think its unlikely because if that was the case why would they send out the PP at all but i think the person should have sent back the poster at least.But its possible selena might sign it in the future you never know.I just hope selenas "people" let her sign a few things on the canadian tour after all selena likes canada so maybe she will be nicer to us canadian fans.

Thanks for all of the comments! There is alot of ideas being thrown around and I also hope that my poster will be returned. I really don't care if none of the other stuff isn't returned I just want my poster back, signed or not. There might still be hope, but I doubt she will ever reply.
Has anyone else sent her VV and whats the date and the location you sent to her at? Sorry, I'm just very curious about this tour!
And for the questions, the venue was Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, FLORIDA. And the concert was on July 30th, 2011, so I doubt anything will be returned. I guess shese just not a very good VV signer.
Well, there still is hope and maybe stuff will be returned, we will never know! But most likely, it is in a trash can somewhere! LOL!
But I am curious to why she didn't use my SASE. That's odd...

They didnt use your sase because it was from studiofanmail who only uses their own envelopes,obviously some flunky who works for selena opened all the mail and then just sends the name and address information to studiofanmail who sends out the pp photos.I sent to selena at the one canadian venue she performed at during her u.s. tour which was in toronto but i never heard back and that was back in august or early september i cant remember. She is doing the canadian tour now and i sent something for last nights show and i will try 1 more venue i guess but i honestly think she wont be signing anything this tour because nobody has got anything back and also she is doing the meet and greet stuff here in canada anyways so like britney spears and the others thats often when they don't let them sign anymore because they charge money for everything now.Only the wealthiest of fans get her autograph or good seats or to meet these stars.

You will probably never see the poster again. It now belongs to the flunky who works for Selena that opened all the fan mail and sent the information along to SFM. Live and learn.

katethegreat, It HAS been a long time, but you never know.

As I said earlier, I sent a venue request one time, and it was a month and a half, almost two months before I got my pictures back. I thought they were lost, or somebody at the venue had taken them.. or that they were damaged in the mail system. But one day, when I quit expecting it to come, it arrived.
