PICTURE/ENVELOPE QUESTION!!!!

Hi. I've only done this once before and I'm wodering, do I HAVE to send a picture with my envelope? Because when people talk about their SASE's, It makes me think that they do not, yet they have lots of autogrpahs. And also, which enevlopes do you use? I've only sent one out about a month ago (Bill Cosby) inside of a large, yellow, 10x15 enevelope and was wondering that if I send my LOR in a normal enevlope with my SASE, if they will put the picture inside of my SASE to be returned to me. Basically, if I dont send the picture and yellow enlope, just my LOR and SASE if they will fold the picture and return it too me. Like, their pictures that they autograph for people. Thanks!

It's always best to send items for them to sign and a SASE, so they can sign your items and return them to you in your envelope that you've provided. some celebs do send out their own photos if you provide a SASE, but you'll have to research ahead of time to see if the ones their sending out are realy signed by them or just pre-prints.

most celebs send 8x10's, so a 9x12 SASE is all you need. and you can fold that in half and put it in a 6x9 envelope to mail out.
