Don't sweat it. Just spread the karma around. There's not enough of it on the internet.

If I can help any of you with others that I might have I'll certainly try. Guys and gals, do each other a favor, if you get a success: post it up because you are willing to let other collectors know that you did get a reply- not just to stroke your epeen. You certainly don't have to post up the address, but if you mention that you had a success and somebody asks you for it, shoot 'em a PM or post that sucker up here.

-and please don't ask me what an 'epeen' is. thanks. :)

Ok, I have a question. I have read where people have hinted at it as a possibility. But, does Bill Belichick sign??? I would love to get his autograph on a Patriots Mini Helmet. Does he seriously sign??

Yes. Bill is a football historian and has a great reputation with fans and generously signs through the Patriots organization. Write him C/o the Patriots.

We always hint around things because you should always temper your expectations, and we'd hate for you to blame one of us for you losing an item in the mail, as even reputable signers sometimes decide not to. We can not guarantee a signature. As a general rule of thumb, always be prepared to lose comfortably half of what you've sent out every year.

Stephen Gostowski Success

Sent Late August w/ SASE LOR and photos, Received today 3/3 photos signed
EVERY REQUEST INCLUDES A SASE, INDEX CARD FOR "SLIGHT" PROTECTION AND LOR!!

NONE OF MY AUTOGRAPHS ARE FOR SALE!!! THEY ARE FOR MY PERSONAL COLLECTION ONLY!!!

Autograph collecting is a hobby of mine. It is not meant to be anything for profit nor beyond my enjoyment. I only send out to people I have deep respect for in their profession/field. I send out to the following but not limited to: professional/college athletes/coaches, actors/actresses from TV shows, artists/authors, voice actors/actresses, and any other random celebrity I love/respect. I try to respect everyone's privacy the best I can.

Feel free to private message me about anything. I'm always willing to help if I can. Just do not demand addresses/advice. Be chill about it and I'll definitely be of some help! Aggression and entitlement gets nothing.

Best advice I can give everyone about autograph collecting through the mail are the 3 P's:

BE POLITE!!!
BE POSITIVE!!!
BE PATIENT!!!

Nato: Bill Belichick has signed in the past, but as we all the hard way, results and successes always vary.

Leebo: You are exactly right, thats what this website and this forum is all about. Collectors helping one another!

Got Peyton Manning back today c/o Peyback foundation in the database. Probably my 2nd biggest TTM ever (behind Jerry Rice). Took only 9 days!

Just to answer 1/10mntdiv's question from earlier, I've never seen a success from Speilman c/o ESPN. From what I've been told in the past, Speilman is a very tough sig to get TTM from any address. I wouldn't risk your flag with him right now. Maybe try an 8X10 first or something to see if you get a success? We all know some guys that haven't signed in the past have become more generous lately. May be worth it with something you don't mind losing.
Some favorites from my collection, so far, are...

Favorite IP Autographs: Chris Cooley, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Faith Hill, John Riggins, Bruce Smith

Favorite TTM Autographs: Stephen Davis, Jim Lachey, Peyton Manning, Mark McGwire, Chris Samuels

Favorite Sports Teams: Washington Redskins, Boston Celtics, Boston Red Sox

I sent out to Spielman in September at his home address for the heck of it after seeing one confirmation. I have not gotten a response. I'll keep you posted.

I appreciate the recommendations. Especially you leebo. I think I will try Belichick. I'll let you guys know. Also, I got a Warren Moon Signed Mini Helmet Monday (yesterday). It only took 10 days. I sent it to the Duvall address. I sent a usps priority mail self addressed stamped box and a Seahawks helmet. He signed it, put his number and the hall of fame year. To top it all off, he even paid for TRACKING and sent a seperate envelope letting me know he did that and asked me to call if I didn't receive the helmet back. That is awesome!
