I learned along time ago that about 75 percent of the people on fanmail biz really don't know that much about the autograph hobby. So when they say they got there dick van dyke, clint eastwood sly stallone. Jerry lewis etc they are just happy they got something and they think it is real. A lot don't even know what secretarial means. So the people myself included tell them that they are fake pp or auto pens they get upset and think we are taking all the fun out of there hobby. So unless the person wants my expert advice maybe we should keep are advice to our selves.

I understand that theirs could be a secretarial but no one has explained why they think it is a secretarial.

tara ok for the last time look at an authentic dick van dyke auto that he did at an in person signing and then compare it to the ones you get ttm his in person is completely different more compact and tight. And people have said that they have got there van dykes back sometimes in a week and that Dick van dyke was not even in this country at the time . It is just red flag after red flag. All the ttm look one way and all his in person look the same way.

[Patrick's Autographs]

I have seen some authentic TTM responses but they're very rare.

Patrick I have heard some people say that dick van dyke sends out authentic autographs and then they show a real van dyke auto and say that this is what they got back ttm trying to make there point. My advice get him in person or buy one from a dealer that had a signing with him 100 bucks should do the trick.

Dick Van Dyke charges $80+ for an in person signature at a show. When I discovered that, I knew EVERY signature was a fake TTM. No one will charge that high a price and then go around and sign for free. There are actors that will go to conventions and also sign TTM, but they charge like $20-$25 so it's not that big of a deal for them.
