Yeah I would be interested in hearing what pieces you have in your vault aka your childhood bedroom at your mom's house.

This is DEFINITELY a failure!!! Im sorry but I have to agree with arca0029. YnG_CLCTR$$ sounds like a real hot head and I'm sure is new to the game. Oh and I'm sure his vault is loaded with PPs!!!

Without wanting to get bogged down in an ongoing and age old arguement about 'Is this a success or not', I guess from my perspective, if I get a signed pic back (even better if it's dedicated) then I at least know for one second in that celeb's day, they were thinking about what I wrote (or even just my name) to put pen to paper (as I say, if it's personalised or has a written note or whatever then that's perfect for me) but if it's a PP then the celeb has literally signed one picture x-number of years ago which has been copied over and over by some random in their management agency, the celeb has never seen your letter; your name; your kind words, nothing. This is why I, personally don't see PPs as anything other than a failure (and it is a personal thing, I'm not knocking those who see PPs as a success, good on you, enjoy them, you still got a reply and if you're happy, great). End of the day, this is why this site is great because those who want a PP from Jim can carry on writing to his agent for one and those who don't are pre-warned.

Yeah while the above poster didn't really need to make such a personal (but amusing) attack on the OP, a PP is definitely a failure. It is akin to getting an auto-reply email, and anyone can make their own if they want to. Your letter, and the PP has had literally nothing to do with the celeb, in fact, their autograph has probably changed since they made the original. However, you did list it as a "PP Success", so it's not like you were misleading anyone.
Recent Successes:
Jessica Chastain, Saoirse Ronan!<3 (TTM), Uzo Aduba, Laura Carmichael & Zawe Ashton (ip), Jane Horrocks, Gemma Arterton, Jim Broadbent, Lucy Liu, Christina Ricci, Andres Muschietti, Bill Skarsgard, and the cast of IT, Ian McKellen, Noomi Rapace (VV), MST3K/Rifftrax main cast (Mike Nelson, Bill Corbett, Kevin Murphy), Geddy Lee (ip)
