That may not be true in the "card collector no ink world" but that's how I wanted it. If it was a card worth $10,000 I probably wouldn't want it signed, but this isn't the most valuable card in the world, and wasn't in mint condition at all.
You're the one that brought up the card value in the first place, on more than one occasion.
Go back and read the first post and then the follow up, the OP commented on the value in relation to losing the card completely as it hadn't been returned. They then outlined what the card is and it's rough value when asked more. At no point did they comment on the value of the card when signed/unsigned.

You didn't get it back because Whitey's prices have gone up, he's $20/ea on cards and flats. So he only signed one for you.

Well he could've returned the other unsigned? No need to steal the card!

I like to send out 4x6 photos and collect for under $1 round trip per athlete/celeb. That way if I don't get anything back it's no biggie but if I get a success I'm super joyful.
Of course, signed cards are valuable to signed card collectors. But signed cards are worthless to serious card collectors.
You have to be high to think that's true. Just fuck off know it all.

Yea, I read this lastnight and didn't even feel like wasting my time responding but he obviously doesn't know what he's talking about. Doing a 10 minute "previously sold" search on ebay will show you that a lot of items that are signed will go for a higher value than unsigned...especially with older cards because its much more rare to find a signed 1948 Bowman than an unsigned one. But it all depends on what you like. For the most part, I only collect and purchase signed items...so I'm willing to pay more for a signed card than an unsigned one.
