Hi your letters are ok I guess but to me, and I'm assuming based on what I have read on this topic a lot of people think they are form letters. If you read all of them they basically sound the same you just changed the names and varied the questions a little. Other than that they are basically the same. I'm not trying to be rude here but I think anyone could have written those letters, fan or not. All somone would have to do would be to do a little research on IMDb. For example I'm going to write a pretend letter to miley cyrus even though I have never seen her show. I'm going to base what I write on info I have heard about her.

Dear Miley Cyrus,
Hi, my name is Leah and I am 15 years old. I am a huge fan of yours and I watch Hanna Montana every time its on. I also think you are an amazing singer. I was wondering If you could answer a few questions for me.
1. How long have you been singing?
2. How do you like working with your dad on the show
3. Are you planning to do any movies.
I was also wondering you could send me a signed photo. I would appretiate it a lot.
Thanks a lot,
Leah

This is an example of a very vage letter. I wrote this and I don't even know anything about her except what people told me. I hope this helps and doesn't offend you because I'm just trying to help. :D Good luck on your letters

reaper07 if his post bother you so much, just quite reading them

Anthony- I think your letters are fine, short and to the point.. not many big celebrities have time to read pages upon pages of letters delivered to their agents in my opinion, anyways. mostly the secretary or agent, in my opinion quick scans it and looks to see what the person is requesting, prepares them, and then passes them on the the celebrity. as for these, the vin scully one was fine, what else can you possibly say to a broadcaster? you did what you have to do, mention some sort of work that they've been in, mention your age/ name, and request your autograph. i myself have sent out several requests like this and seem to have a high percentage of returns. the only other thing you could do, other than clean up the spelling and what not, not to be nit-picky is to just mention something unique you like about the person, (like you did with the buckner call on the scully one) for instance, using the miley cyrus example, you could say my favorite song of yours is..... "the best of both worlds, because it makes me think of what it'd be like to be a pop star like Hannah Montana" or something like that. I personally like to tell them a little about my job, which you probably don't have one at your age, so if you wanted to make them a little more "personal" you could do something like "I am 14 and in the 9th grade. My favorite subject is English, I love to write essays in class and would like to be a writer some day. well, enough about me..." or something like that.. that's just my two cents worth. Hope I could be of help!
