In NY, you can get a permit at 16 and a license but you will need to have an adult with you.

Here in the Czech Republic we can get the driving license for motorbikes at 16, but for all other vehicles like cars we have to be 18.

Wow, that's pretty young, especially in Canada.

Even though the Canadian and most US systems are complicated, I'd rather that then see little/young kids behind the wheel causing accidents. (Not implying that all young people cause accidents...I mean from where I'm from there are a TON of older people who are horrible drivers and who shouldn't be driving at all) You'd think with a more complex system people would spend the time to become good/experienced drivers. :roll: This is all just my opinion.
