Considering all the potential on the table over a 48 hr span (McCartney, Springsteen, 2 film sets, Ament + others), this was nothing short of an epic failure. Really, I can put MOST of the blame on myself for wasting so much time on Paul mcCartney, but still, a horrible 2 days with pretty much 0 results.

Coulda had a slightly more successful day if I was paying more attention when I was out. Missed getting Barbara Hershey because I wasnt expecting her.

For a long time I've sort of defended JMo to other hounds here that call her a "bitch". I've said "sure, shes not the nicest, but there are far worse..at least she signs and isnt rude about it"... but the other day, she crossed that like into "bitchmode".

She showed up to set, and I asked her to sign. She didnt HAVE to, she coulda said no... but she stopped, seems nice enough right? It took me 1/2 a second TOPS to have my items out & displayed to her, she reacted with "I dont have all day, you need to be prepared.. they're calling me to set right now". Although she still signed, I really would have been ok with her saying "no, I'm in a rush" but instead, she reacted with a gruff, rude and fairly unpleasant tone, yet still did what was requested. Sort of disappointed with her attitude. Like I said, for a while I've been playing the "at least she signs & isnt rude about it" defense in talking with others, but I cant even say that now.

I wonder if she'll only get worse, or if this was a 1 off "bad moment".

This was the 1st time I had got him in a few months. he even joked how he must not be famous anymore because I never come for him. FINALLY finished 2 trio photos I started several months ago & expected to have done within week of starting them.

Was hoping to see at least 1 other person leaving or returning, but sadly thats all I saw.

Also sqw Colin Donnell coming into town to start his filming on Arrow, he hasnt been back since Christmas break..... worst part is, I had images for him, even thought I had made them...but didnt & he walks right out past me.

Also saw Canucks goalie Roberto Luongo return to town, had nothing for him either.

Went for Canucks a few days ago... 1st time in 9 months.

Luongo X2 and I coulda got more if I had more... never seen him so happy... even got him to do a "full name" autograph, or as close to 1 as hes probably done in 10 or so years.

In the category of pricks who didnt get the memo that there was a lockout & the fans are still pissed... Manny Malhotra, who only stopped for people he hasnt seen before. For all the BS fans went thru for 4 1/2 months, I didnt expect ANY player to act that way before the deal was even officially signed... yet it happened.

1st weekend of NHL autographs was "ok" considering both teams stayed at the new hotel on the scene... which is not fun & the rink is a write off because of contrstruction in the area now that has made them block the area right off.

If more teams end up staying at this hotel (used to be just the Oilers, Lightning & Canadiens for the 1st couple yrs.) then autographs in Vancouver this year will be quite unpleasant for hockey.
