Re: Wrestling Collectors?
You know, I wrote One Man Gang using the address that someone had posted in this forum. He wsa nice enough to send me back a signed picture, but also sent an order form. And I agree that if the people that don't sign TTM should be nice enough to at least mark our letters as RTS. I've sent out several pics I've found on the internet and sent out and have heard nothing back.

OMG did this to you, but you say that you would not goes as far as say F**K them??? I got news for ya, if this happened to me with all those great signatures you got, I would be P I S S E D!~~~~~ Those are some great names and many of you made some valid points on my original thread - I know the addresses I sent to are good - Hell, I KNOW the OMG one is legit ... well, just trust me that it is, and I know that you said u rec'd a reply/success from it, so I will leave it at that - Another thread had a guy say that he or his friend read the water meter for Orndorff's house, which is in Georgia .. so, to say the argument above about it not being the "correct address" holds no water on the two guys I called out (Orndorff and OMG) - It is just B.S. that they would get it, see there is a sincere letter, POSTAGE, and yet they still just push it off or whatever - And that whole "Sending unsolicited stuff to the house" and such doesn't hold water for me ... Addresses and emails are public knowledge so I find nothing wrong with sending something to a person's home - If they choose to NOT to reply, it IS their rite - But it still s u c k s on these 2 instances when they do not write back or send when I KNOW they got something from me (you, etc) ...gkoz316 wrote: I lost my Wrestlemania book (the big WWE book from 2000-2001) signed by Mick Foley, Jake Roberts, Ron Simmons, Ted Dibiase, Virgil, Goldust, and Big Bossman when I sent it to One Man Gang.

To OMG? Hell yeah i'd say 'f**k him' but the others I can understand them not always wanting to sign via mail, but if that's the case RTS the damn thing and be done with it. Don't take whatever was sent to you out and then toss it in the trash, that's just wrong to do to someone that admires you and takes the time to remember you, express their admiration for you, and thank you for what you did, in some cases twenty years ago, when you're well past your prime and will rarely ever see that kind of support again. Case in point, a year ago, two years even OMG was at a local indy show along with Tito Santana, Beefcake, Heidenreich, Demolition Ax & Smash, Virgil, and Eugene. They were all charging $10-$15 a pop for autographs & photo-ops before the show and I passed right by him, I stopped long enough to see what gimmicks he had on the table from the 8x10s of his various gimmicks to the Classics action figures as OMG and Akeem. I got extra autographs with the other guys rather than paying him for his because I'll never support him again in any single way. He'd never notice or probably care, but this was a pretty big pay-day for these guys because it was the same week as Wrestlemania 25 in Houston and the promotion that brought them all in had paid big money in advertising the show, and I passed it around that i sent him that book and never got it back and there were a few other people that skipped right past his line because of it. And this is in Texas where he had a lot of exposure during the days of WCCW.Mjr Frank Burns wrote:OMG did this to you, but you say that you would not goes as far as say F**K them??? Do you mark RTS on the mail you receive that you don't want? If you're like me, you just chunk it.CrazyCooter wrote:You know, I wrote One Man Gang using the address that someone had posted in this forum. Re: Wrestling Collectors?
As the ttms have been sparse for me lately, I took back some empty soda bottles and bought a box of the TNA New Era cards. I have so many, that I am trying to put a set together! I got plaenty of doubles and triples as well as a signed card from SoCal Val. I wish that I would have gotten an actual wrestler, but oh well.

There's a difference between tossing junkmail and something that a fan sent you because they admire and appreciate you. Only real a**holes do something like that.KennethECoker wrote:Do you mark RTS on the mail you receive that you don't want?
