Here is the story of how I got my Jamie Lee Curtis autograph:
There is a book store in New Jersey called Book-Ends and back in April 2009 I met Cloris Leachman there, so that's how I know about the store. On their website, you can buy signed books from previous book signings. I went on their website on Wednesday night and it said that they had the children's book My Mommy Hung The Moon by Jamie Lee Curtis autographed by her for sale. On Thursday morning, I had my mom call them to see if they had it. They didn't have any left. I was bummed ever since. On Saturday I went to Toys R Us because I enjoy looking at dolls and toy monkies and I was allowed to get something. I almost got an adorable monkey. I was still really upset about the book thing, so my mom said that Toys R Us sells books and said that we should go over to see if they had the book unsigned just so we could at least see it. We went over to the book aisle and they had the book and when I looked closely at the book cover, it had a silver sticker that said Autographed Books and I opened it up and sure enough there was an authentic Jamie Lee Curtis autograph in it. My mom bought it for me. I am so happy and excited about it!!!!

Since 1984, I have been collecting both IP and TTM autographs. I have amassed over 10K signed cards, photos, helmets, bats, balls, bases, and jerseys as well as many unique items (ie. A League of Their Own cast member jersey signed by some of the AAGBL players, a FB signed by 73 HOFers, a bat signed by 78 HOFers, a 1937 Padres minor league team ball-includes an 18 yr old Ted Williams fresh out of High School, and a Babe Ruth 3x5 matted and framed with a copy of the contract when the Red Sox sold him to the Yanks).

A little about me: I used to collect mainly TTM when I belonged to the website Star Archive, later Tiger, but became inactive due to them becoming a pay site and a focus on collecting dvds. Most of my successes come from 03'-06' I'm using the same user name I used there in case anybody I know from there is now on this site.
