Cool story. I'm all for grown men cracking jokes, holding up signs, trying to draw them over in an honest, creative way, that's fine. That's how Sylvester gets Tweety, whatever. What I don't like is grown men with tunnel vision and act like nothing will stand in the way of them and autograph. I've seen some pretty pathetic things happen at training camps over the years. Really makes you question humanity and slowly turn into the miserable prick I am today lol its a fun hobby, but Jesus, it attracts a ot of low-lifes.

On the 8x10 thing, I send so many that it would be impossible to send 8x10 of everybody so I go the index card route, unless I've had a success and know Ill get it back. Oftentimes when I get an ok through Facebook or email to send a guy somethingl for that occasion, Ill print up pictures. But its quite an expense to print or purchase, say, 20 8x10's over a period of time and never get them back. Index cards, I'm out the cost of 2 stamps if they never come back.

Yeah, cool story bro, especially the thing about Mario Manningham. I mean, following that up after James Lofton is like bagging on people for having a Billy Joe Tolliver autograph.

Got 2 football autographs yesterday. (Luigi, if you're a Giants fan you might like this). Normal return for Atwater, quick return for Tittle.

Steve Atwater - 16 days

Y.A. Tittle - 18 days

Really? Seriously, is that all you got, you tough MMA guy? Hah! Come on man.

That's my point tough guy. We're not here to listen to you bag on people, complain, and generally get us off topic with your hypocritical and combative, immature behavior. Stop taking swipes at people and drawing others into conflict.

We're here to help others not take swipes at each other.

Congrats on your autographs there 46!

Nice successes, everyone! Cool story about the Tigers game, too. Just goes to show you that using your brain and being creative can work a lot better than being a big freak pushing people out of the way to get a sig.

Of course, I'd like to think we all have a lot more self control than that. :)
Some favorites from my collection, so far, are...

Favorite IP Autographs: Chris Cooley, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Faith Hill, John Riggins, Bruce Smith

Favorite TTM Autographs: Stephen Davis, Jim Lachey, Peyton Manning, Mark McGwire, Chris Samuels

Favorite Sports Teams: Washington Redskins, Boston Celtics, Boston Red Sox

I might send off a rookie card of Kyle Orton to him since I hear he signs, but I'd probably do it when he's riding the bench or when training camp is over.

Send it now, the Broncos train at their team facility so it doesn't matter when you send it. Odds are he's going to beat Tebow out, so he won't be riding the bench. If he loses the job, odds are he'll be trade bait again pretty quickly. Send it off now and it'll be your best shot at getting it back. Just my two cents, either way good luck with it.

Does anyone have any insight on the RAIDERS training camp and/or Raiders autographing?
The TC is in Napa Valley. I have a letter ready to go..

Question: is it better to send to the Napa Address -or- just send to the Raiders Team Office. I feel that the team office may be safer - as they will all be returning there at some point ; but the Napa address may reap better rewards (as my piece wont be buried w all of the other mail recd over the summer and since camp started).

I really appreciate any advice. Thanks!
