No he is not!
Just because Powell endorses Obama, doesn't mean McCain is screwed!
You should do your homework and read up on Obama.
He is not what you think he is. {down}
He isn't this great guy thats going to help you and blah blah blah!
You shouldn't always believe the stupid media!
1. You need to calm down.

2. If you actually bothered to read the pages then you'll know that I'm a McCain supporter; and therefore I'm on the same side as you.

3. Being so disrespectful to others isn't going to get your message across; it will bring the counter effect.

Jason.
Oh, sorry!
I didn't know that you were a Republican!!
And BTW, I may not know as much about the election as you guys, because I'm only 13.

MileyQueen just so know, I really don't think that anyone is not listening to you. And for instance I care what other people think, sometimes someone being able to listen to someone else's thoughts can bring to light issues that they never thought about. I was for McCain myself until not to long ago, I learned about some issues and different things and am now leaning towards Obama, however I'm not opposed to listening to others and what they think. I still respect McCain, just as if I was for McCain I would respect Obama. They are both in my opinion people that deserve it. It may change my mind. I think that the key to being informed is listening to others, as well as learning about things yourself. I was only saying that if you want people to listen, try talking about why you like McCain or what you think he'll do good on, and contrast it to Obama, so that maybe people will see your side. I've met people for McCain and Obama and they will tell me until they are blue in the face who they are voting for, but they never tell me why. Reasons like "more experience" and such are really reasons. It's a pat answer that people that don't really know about the issues give. And for someone to feel so strongly about who they like (like you) then you have to have reasons. So why not share them, instead of making statements that don't really make it seem like you know much. I'm open to listening, and more anyone that really wants the right person in office would be as well, whether you're for Obama or McCain, it's good to listen to the other side.

Read the latest rolling stones issue (or it may be the one before that), It completley burned John McCain. It really shows hoe incompletable he is at being a presendential nominee.
Yeah...I just read that, too. Dunno which you one you are talking about though...he has been on the cover of 3 in the past what...6 months? [/quote]

Why do you even choose to be involved in this and causing people to get their feathers roughed up over nothing. :?

DwightKSchrute wrote:For all you liberals, here are some fun things to look at:

Her Resume:

-Business/Professional Experience: Television sports reporter, 1987-1989; Co-owner of a commercial fishing operation, 1988-2007; owner, sport vehicle rental business, 1994-1997; chairwoman, Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, 2003-2004

-Political Office: Governor of Alaska, elected 2006; mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, 1996-2002; Wasilla City Council, 1992-1996

- Bachelor's degree in journalism (with a minor in political science) from the University of Idaho. It took her 6 years and 5 school transfers to obtain this degree.

- Threatened a lawsuit to stop the listing of polar bears on the endangered species list, fearing that it would hurt oil and gas development in the bears' habitat off Alaska's northern and northwestern coasts.

- Is responsible for approving a $400,000 state-funded propaganda campaign to justify Alaska's barbaric wolf slaughter from the skies.

- Zero Foreign policy experience, if you exclude her negotiating with foreign energy companies to exploit American resources.

- She has a total of a little under 2 years in state government. In comparison, Sen. Obama has 7 years of experience in state government and 3 years in federal government.

- She backs capital punishment, and opposes same-sex marriage.

- Supported Alaska's decision to amend its Constitution to ban same-sex marriage and would support a ballot question to deny benefits to homosexual couples.

- Although Palin is aware of a climate change, she fails to recognize that we, as gas-guzzling humans, have played a large part in it. She is not interested in alternative energy choices. She's interested in drilling in the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge.

- Palin said in a 2006 debate that she supports teaching creationism alongside evolution in public schools on the grounds that "healthy debate is so important."

- Palin never left the country before July 2007 when she needed to first obtain a passport before visiting Alaskan National Guard troops stationed in Kuwait.

- As mayor, former city officials and Wasilla residents said that Palin approached the town librarian about the possibility of banning some books, though she never followed through and it was unclear which books or passages were in question.

- As mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, Palin enforced a policy of charging rape victims for their own rape examinations: an exam that costs $1200.

- Palin is against Stem Cell Research.

-In an interview with Couric, Palin defended her puzzling claim that geographic proximity makes her some sort of expert on Russia; went nearly blank when queried about McCain's achievements as a big-business regulator; agreed America "may find itself" on the road to another Great Depression; and, promoting a troop surge in Afghanistan, casually suggested that it "will lead us to victory there, as it has proven to have done in Iraq."

- In an interview with Couric, Palin was asked to cite an example of a newspaper or magazine that she read regularly prior to being named as McCain's running mate. Three separate times, Couric tried to elicit a response from Palin about which specific newspapers she reads. Seemingly caught off guard, Palin could not name a single news source, but when pressed, she replied that she has read "all of them."

- She can see Russia from her house.

-----

And there are so many more that could've been put there.

Here's her debate flow chart:

smartcollegeguy : By saying something as petty as 'get a life', you've shown the same weak debating skills that Stalin - sorry, Palin - possesses. If that is how the Republicans choose to argue their views then it's not suprising that Obama is ahead in all the opinion polls.
AUTHENTIC, OR NOTHING AT ALL.
