Hey Guys,
I was just wondering why everyone has to put so much thought and debate into if they are autopens or secretarial or if the signature is authentic but the inscription is secretarial..I mean maybe John Travolta signs every autograph.........I am just happy to get something and if it says to ___ thanks, John whoever I am happy and just assume that it is real? I like to enjoy them and not deal with all of that....What do you guys think??

I agree with you, getting something is better than getting nothing at all. I mean, celebrities don't have to send out anything but they choose to out of their own good will. Not all celebrities have as much time to reply to everyone. So getting a PP, autopen and so on is still a great gift to me and i appreciate that they care enough to send something. And concerning the secreterials, what can i say, who really knows if they are or if they aren't, it's still great to get something. I'm happy either way

Hi Everyone,

I am happy with everyting that I recieve from a celeb, whether it be authentic, pre-print or autopen. The only time that celebrities get on my nerves is when they charge for their autograph. I think that they should have the decency to send out something for free, as where would they be without us: the fans!

I was surprised by the answers to my thread about 'feeling cheated' by PP or AP, because it DOES seem to be a highly discussed topic, and yet as both Chrissy and AutographAddict have said, they are happy to just get a reply.

I have to say that if anyone has gone to the trouble to write to a celebrity, then the celebrity should make sure they he or she has got a system in place to respond to requests.

As has been mentioned elsewhere, Agents and Managers can be a problem at times for not dealing with mail correctly. If I go to one of my clients at a venue and I find there is a stack of mail that has been sent and it hasn't been dealt with, I go berserk! - it soon gets dealt with!!!
