No email success...
I think absolutely no email success should be posted.
In my relatively short time on fanmail.biz I've seen many email addresses be posted, abused, than finally stop replying.
Many people send request to celebrities (singers, athletes, etc.) and are not even fans, but want a quick autograph.
I don't see the point of having someone's autograph that the first time I heard about him/her was when I wanted their autograph.
This should also go with youtube and myspace successes.

Completely agree.
Yes some requests are by real fans, but far too many are by people just after a quick boost to their collection (even though they dont have a clue who the person is) and others do it just to sell them.

Re: No email success...
Yes I do see your point. But I know I personally would not email a celebrity who I was not a fan of. I'm very proud of my album of autographs and I wouldn't want anyone I didn't know or like in there!

Thanks -Lil1- for the amazing set!
Favourite autographs: Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum, Paul Daley, Rashad Evans, Chris Leben and Ariel Helwani
Most wanted: Mariah Carey, Michelle Rodriguez, Shania Twain, Michael Bisping, GSP and Dixie Chicks
Re: No email success...
I totally agree with this! like, if someone wants to REQUEST a celebrity email address, the person replying should reply byPM. That way2 things happen:
1. the person requesting is the only one with the email
and
2. the person has to request the email address specifically.

Re: No email success...
Yeah I agree with that, and also I think when someone posts a success they should just say they used the email, rather than stating the actual email address. Then if anyone wants the address then they have to PM the person who posted the success. I'm sure admin would be aware of the email address they used so as long as they say they requested by email then it would be ok. Just a suggestionrob234111 wrote:I totally agree with this! like, if someone wants to REQUEST a celebrity email address, the person replying should reply byPM. That way2 things happen:

I think that email successes should be posted in a different forum where only trusted members can have assess to; this will prefent spammers but will not prevent real fans from contacting the celebs via email.

Re: No email success...
Good point, but how could they possibly decide who can have access to it? Even people who have been members for a long time still request authographs just for the sake of it, so they couldn't exactly go by the date they joined or anything.jasonw wrote:I think that email successes should be posted in a different forum where only trusted members can have assess to; this will prefent spammers but will not prevent real fans from contacting the celebs via email.

I suppose they could look at past successes of members and see how many were email compared to TTM, but that would take forever checking every single members history!

Well, to avoid having to check everyone, people could request access to the forum;x hayley x wrote: Good point, but how could they possibly decide who can have access to it? So only people who request access have to be checked.
