Lesley Garrett success!

Hi, I sent a letter of request and an SASE to the lovely opera singer Lesley Garrett, as I am such a fan of her music and just generally herself as a person, she is just so nice! I sent my request via The Savoy Theatre in London, where she is currently starring in the musical of 'Carousel' as 'Nettie Fowler.' Today I received the most beautiful signed and dedicated picture, and an index card with a lovely note on both sides of it! My SASE wasn't big enough, so very kindly Lesley taped my SASE to a bigger envelope.

Ammir - I think it it still valid, the show is currently booking until 25th July 2009, so I imagine Lesley would stay on for the rest of the time. Good luck if you do try!
