I am trying to work out the return postage from the UK (London) to Australia (Sydney).
At the moment, I've got £1.72 in UK stamps and I was wondering if this is sufficient enough to cover this trip with an A4 sized paper printout, 2 DVD covers (not the entire DVDs themselves) and a manilla folder to protect these items. I am not sure how much these will all weigh up to. The return envelope will also be big enough to fit all these items in without folding them.
I've also got one first class UK stamp, which I have read is worth 34p. I am considering adding this with the £1.72, but I'm not sure if I am allowed considering it is a 'first class' stamp

Lastly, could someone please confirm that the postage to my destination is measured only by the weight of the envelope and its contents, and not by the size (directly) itself?
Thanks all!
