Printing pictures

Unread post by EastendersFan »

Hello {thumb2}

Well i was on this forum the other day and i was reading a thread about where you get your photos printed for requests. Loads of people said Walmart but i was like wheres that :? after typing it in google! Then today i was in the car and i saw an asda lorry with the slogan 'Part of the walmart company' or something like that and then i realised where it was! Bear in mind i was in Asda earlier and visited where you get your photos printed to have a look at prices etc.

Anyway the question i wanted to ask was if you get your photos printed there, whats the best way of handing over a picture to be printed? If i want a picture of the internet what do you suggest i do? - Do i print it out and take a picture of it with my camera or phone? Does anyone also know the process of getting your photos printed at Walmart? I have asked before but all i could remember was that you have to put your memory card in this machine and follow the instructions.

I appreciate any help you can give me. I normally print my pictures at home you see and ive decided to change as having them done professionally is much better.

Thanks {up}

I upload them online, then have them printed and shipped to a local store (walmart/CVS/Walgreens/Samsclub can do it this way).

As for getting the photos, I seach online, get them from the DVD etc and treat it like a normal digital photo. You can put them on your camera card or a CD and take them to the store where you want to print it. Most places have places for you to print digital photos-one hour or send out. They are pretty painless to use and very user friendly so don't worry. :)

I saw that you ware in the UK so it might be a little different because I am in the US, but I hope this helped. Let me know if you need more help. {thumb2}

Hi thanks for your response. Yea i am a little confused with what you said to be honest :neutral: hmmm...

I'm going to take my memory card in from my camera because i dont know how to send a picture to the place in the UK. Do you just take a picture with your camera of the picture I print out of my computer? Hope this makes sense lol

Anyway i'm thinking about not becoming a TM anymore. I dont think i'm that experienced and i'm sure many other users on here deserve my place {up} I will think about it though

Thanks for your help again.

Really sorry about that. :oops: Let me try to clear things up.

Taking a photo of the photo with your camera can work but it is complicated and I wouldn't recommend that.

What kind of photo is it? Did you get it online, so it is a digital photo? Some people have a card reader with their camera. They take their memory card out of the camera and put in the reader and hook it up to their computer. Then you can put any digital images from your computer (from the internet) onto the memory card. Otherwise I would recommend you making a CD of the digital images you want to print and taking that instead of the camera card.

I hope that was clearer. Let me know if I've confused you again. :oops:

Just to clear this up, Eastendersfan, Walmart is actually a US company.
Here in the UK, you can print off at places like Asda.
And do not resign from your position as TM, you have helped a lot of people.

Lol.
And sorry, no I don't know much about printing professionally, but I don't see no wrong in asking the guy at the customer service help desk how you can do it. I print from home, which seems to be faultless for me.

I'm not in the UK or familier with Asda but you ought to be able to take a CD in to the store to print from. The people in the photo center can help with your questions. Nothing wrong with asking for help. {thumb2}
