A certain alt pop band known for signing vv (okay, it's no doubt) is touring this summer and I made a list of all the venues they are playing that pass on fan mail, according to this site. In the past, I did searches and found that some of these venues did not have documented successes, so I would prioritize.

Somehow, when I enter the venue in the custom search, it is not giving the full catalog of responses. To test this, I tried my local venue, The Palace of Auburn Hills with a long list of successes, including some of my own. Well, it gave like 3 responses, mostly related to the Detroit Pistons. So, something is off.

If you understand my question, please feel free to give me input for a successful custom search.

You could try searching the forums instead.

Google doesn't spider and add everything, but the forum search has the entire forum covered.

If you're saying that there's some venues not listed as passing on fan mail, then email them, the address can usually be found on the venues website.

No, there are venues listed as passing on fan mail, but have no documented successes on this site. (This was when the forum search engine was working.) This would make me hesitant to send there, particularly if there are multiple successes from other venues.
