What do you mean? A person who's not that famous? I really don't see any problem with it at all! :)

Good Luck!

I always worry about sending a fan letter to the wrong person-especially if the name is common (Justin Tarr, Kellie Martin) so there are multiple results and I would be totally embarrassed if I sent a letter to the wrong person.

But, if you are SURE it is the person you want to write, go ahead. I don't think there's anything WRONG about using the white pages but I haven't used them. Good luck! {thumb2}

Yes I was going to say only consider sending if you're certain it's the celebrity and not just someone with the same name. Celebrities tend to have their names removed from the white pages anyway for privacy and security reasons. Even my address isn't in the white pages so I wouldn't really expect a celebrities to be! It's up to you though it depends whether or not you want to take the risk.

I use it all the time (anywho.com actually) and although I get a TON of RTS's, it's definitely worth it for those that come back, once I've found the address that was previously unavailable. I've gotten a ton of wrestlers for my son, along with musicians, just by searching the sites. You need to know what town they're close to, though, and a middle name helps sometimes too. That's where wikipedia comes in. :lol:

Yea, I get the name right I use Whitepages.com and it tells you the age and sometimes the spouse, So you can pretty much get a good idea if your sending to the right person. My problem is/was that is it a invasion of privacy?

Absolutly not! My 3rd cousin (Ron Hodges) played for the New York Mets in the 80's and he has his phone open to any fans and his address as well. (He is a realtor now so I guess he has 2, lol) He says hearing from people that might just want a card signed, but never heard of him before, makes him feel good. :)

Again, Unless they are very cruel, they won't mind! I even have called a few former NASCAR drivers and they have kept me on the phone talking to me about there carrer, etc. (It's a lot of fun to call them as well, that is if there numbers listed) :razz:

Good Luck and God Bless!

Youve just inspired me to do some of my own searching!

An actress I'd love an autograph from hasn't taken her husband's name, so I searched for him in the phone book once I learned it in an article, and bam, I know where their house is now. And I know their number! I'm 99.999% certain it's theirs, as along with bits of things I've heard about where they live (general area of the city) and his name, it just all adds up! You'd think they would have gone private but I guess nobody else's mind works the way mine does!

But I'm terrified of writing to her house with an SASE as she'd probably send back a restraining order in it! I'll stick to her agent's address I think :razz:

I guess, though, if you can't find any other address for them, you should go for it OP, they would have removed themselves otherwise, surely?
