Signed shoes??
I've seen a couple of posts now mentioning people that get their shoes signed. This is just the oddest thing. Have any of you done that? I can understand not having an item to get signed, but your shoes????
I've already been stuck without an item, but pulled a dollar bill from my wallet and had that signed.

I've Never Done That,
But It Is A Very Bizarre Thing To Do!
If I Had My Shoes Signed By A Celebrity, I'd Never Wear Them Again!

I agree Sophie, I'd want to keep them safe and in perfect condition!SophieBooty wrote:

I do have a pair of ice skates that were signed, but they're not shoes, and they were signed by Kurt Browning. I was a lot younger when I got them signed (and I had brought them to the skating thing specifically for the purpose of getting a signature)

I have never heard about something as strange as that. Where did you read about it?
The weirdest thing I have ever heard about is people that have their favorite bands sign their arms, only to have the autographs tattooed over.

I suppose if you had nothing else to have someone sign, you could resort to asking them to sign your shoe..
I would feel that was very awkward though.
If possible, I'd just as well ask them to sign my shirt though, haha.

Re: Signed shoes??
When I was at a George A Romero signing, which cost 15 bucks per item, this hippy kid took off his busted shoe and had him sign it. This guy paid cash money to have his nasty shoe signed. Everyone was disgusted even George.
He also paid to get other items signed. This wasn't a case of having no other items to sign.
