WAITING TIME FOR VIA VENUE?

Hi,
I'm quite new to the forum, and I'm a bit confused about sending mail to celebritys via venue.

I wrote 3 letters to Taylor Swift (jobing.com Arena, US Bank Arena) and 2 to Demi Lovato (Save Mart at Fresno State, Nokia Thatre at LA Live), but I've never gotten anything back.
Before I sent the letters, i emailed the venue to ask if they wil pass the mail, and all of them said yes!
Furthermore, I always included a nice letter, photos and a SASE and sent the letter 10-12 days before the concert took place. (Because I live in Germany.) And I also added "Please hold for...until..." on the front AND the back of my envelopes.

Well, I expected, when the celebrity leaves the venue, they return the photos immediately, so I'd get a quick reply! Or do some celebritys take the letters with them and start replying when they finish the whole tour?? This sounds weird and I highly doubt it...!
Now, the first letter for Taylor was sent almost 2 months ago! Is this normal? Can I still expect a reply from her? If not, what did I do wrong?

Have you had better VV experiences not only with Taylor/Demi, but in general?
Please help!!!

It should take less time. But sometimes you have to wait more than only week or few weeks for answer. For example: I got my Katy Perry's autograph after 5 months (I sent via venue, of course).
I also wrote to Taylor Swift vv. I sent letters to UK and to the USA. And I've never received anything back. But I still believe.
Maybe some venues pass letters to celebs and they send autographs after tour. Or pass letters to their agencies.
I think we have to wait for Taylor's autograph few months

I also wrote to Taylor Swift vv. I sent letters to UK and to the USA. And I've never received anything back. But I still believe.
Maybe some venues pass letters to celebs and they send autographs after tour. Or pass letters to their agencies.

My Katy Perry took quite a while after the gig had finished. Sometimes celebs take them with them and sign them at a later date when they have some spare time.

Well, Demi Lovato's concert at Nokia theater L.A. live is on July 17th which is a week from today. So, you might want to expect a little longer wait for that one. I was going to try that venue too. So i'm planning on sending one out to her when i go to the post office this weekend for that date too since I live in California. If I am lucky, I might be able to get tickets to the show too.

Haha, I know, that I cannot expect any response for that venue at this time and I'd be really surprised, if I'd get something back BEFORE the concert actually took place.
I metioned this because I just wanted the forum to know, who I wrote to, so maybe they can share their own experiences on these celebrities with me! I wrote Demi for her concerts on July 10th and, as you already indicated, July 17th!

I also wrote her VV when she was doing her only concert in Germany and that was June 20th!
Now I know sometimes Katy returns letters 5 months after the gig, BUT---

That concert was in Germany, so I sent her a SASE with a GERMAN stamp on it, which just works for letters in Germany!
Also, my address on my SASE does'nt have "Germany" on it, so in case she takes the envelope to, lets say the USA, adds US stamps and returns it from there...nobody will know that this letter must be delivered to Germany!!
I know, I'm an idiot!
Has anyone been in the same situation as I am? Did you get something back or not?

I wrote to her when she was playing in London, she stayed there for a bit after. It was postmarked from there too.

In regards to your letter, if you put your postcode on it im sure the post office could look it up. She is a lovely girl so she might remember she got yours in Germany.
