sending Vinyl in the mail

does anyone send Vinyl albums through the mail to be signed? how do you go about doing it? I went to the post office and they basically said for an envelope as large as those to put Vinyl in it would need to be sent through a tracking method, and that is fine but I am guessing the SASE is out of the question as it would need to be returned with tracking and I am not sure you are able to do that

if I put a $20 bill and ask them to go to the post office and return it do you think they will? I figured if you do not send an already postage paid envelope it lessens the chance of getting something back
