I'm new to collecting celebrity autographs. I've been collecting baseball autographs for the last 3 or 4 years now. It is common to send out a photo of several players to each player individually and collect their autographs on the one photo.
I am looking to get the season one cast of Heroes, and was thinking I'd like to get them all on one photo. So, I have a few questions:
1) Is this a good idea or would I be better off sending individual photos to each actor/actress?
2) Would it make any difference if the show is in production?
3) How do I find out if the actor or actress requires a fee?
Getting an entire cast on one photo?

Re: Getting an entire cast on one photo?
In my opinion it's best to collect each one seperately as getting entire cast signed photos is nearly impossible besides In-Person. You may have 2-3 people successfully sign it & then end up losing it if the next person doesn't reply. 90% of the time, the whole cast is never together to answer fanmail. Generally they shoot their scenes and it's on to the next project. Busy, busy busy all day long.
You can send to the HEROES production office (I did this far Hayden & am currently waiting to hear back) Or if they sign via an agency you may have better luck with that.
I Know hayden charges a fee ($30.00 I Beleive) But she's also signed TTM for free if you inlcude the photos and SASE. I'm not sure on the rest of the cast.
Hopefully this helps you! {thumb2}

Re: Getting an entire cast on one photo?
Yea I Would Do Them Seperate So It Focuses On That ONE PERSON....But Its REALLY Up To You...If Kool To HAve Maybe ONE WHOLE Cast Photo But If You Dnt Want To.....Do Them Seperate
Good Luck!
BTW Most Actors And Actresses Change NOTHING As Long As You Include a PHOTO...If U Dnt They MIGHT Re send It Back To YOU And LEt You Kno The Price Then Yo Gotta RE SEND IT AGAIN And It Becomes a Pain....So I Would Send a Photo...
As Far As In Production: Yea It Does Make a Diff Becuase They WONT Be There As Much....lol
So It Would Take Longer....But I Would Send It WHILE They aRe Filming a Season Or Whateva...
Good Luck!

Re: Getting an entire cast on one photo?
Hi packrat!
I would suggest writing each one individually. I think you'd have a better chance of getting some replies that way. You could try the entire cast, but sometimes all you'll get back is a cast pp unless you write to each one individually.
If you decide to send to the entire cast at a show address you should do this when the show is in production.
Hope that helps!

Ryan J., musicfan, and Annie, thank you for your replies! You've all been very helpful!
I think I've reached a bit if a compromise. I will start sending soon, an individual picture to one actor, and a season one photo of the entire regular cast to another. Since it would take time anyway, I'll continue to send that way to the entire regular cast until the cast photo is either finished or lost. This way if I don't get the cast photo back, it wouldn't be that big of a loss. At least I'd have the individual photos of those who reply. I look at it as a challenge and a learning experience.
I've tried to find the production schedule, but was unable to do so. So I guess I'll just have to wing it and send to the agent's offices. Not a big deal, since most of the agent's offices are somewhat near NBC Universal, I think.
Once again, thanks! And if anyone else has anything else to add, it would be entirely welcome!
