Can I send a baseball

I wanted to send out a few base balls out when the season starts back up will they pass it to the players and would they send it back has anyone ever done this with success all help would be great thanks

I think your best bet is to send the item you want signed to an individual player. Look up the players you would like an autograph from from the database here to see what their signing habits are; and then make the determination if you want to send something as expensive as an OML ball (not to mention the postage to and from that player). Most of the successes I know of, with regards to a signed ball, have been at Spring Training and at games. Also, sending baseballs ttm works better if you are sending to retired players, but do your homework to make sure they have responded ttm in the past.

With regards to getting the entire team to sign your ball -- that will not happen!. If you send a ball to an individual player and ask him to pass it around for sigs -- he is then responsible to collect it back and mail it back to you -- he will probably be insulted that you would ask him to do that.

so.... send to one player, provide the item you want signed, and include the packaging and postage to get it returned back to you. If you don't you will lose a lot of baseballs.
