Anybody had any success for Andy Griffith?

My all time favorite show and over the years I've written him at least 4 different times with no luck?

Has anyone received anything back?

I've heard he's not very pleasant with his fanmail or even very friendly at all with fans In-Person. Not sure why. I've wanted him for a while too.

That's what I've heard also Ryan, That's probably why it would be better if I never met him in person.

I know what you mean. We get this impression of actors and actresses that we see on TV and film by their personalities and actions and when we get to meet them in-person there like totally different than what we see on screen. It's not that way with many celebs, but it is sad when come across someone like that. Andy was always so nice and funny on the show.

i also wrote 2yrs ago i think it was a p.o. box in n.c. and got a strip that said he no longer signs

From what I understand he doesn't really sign fanmail if you mention his acting career. He just signs his gospel CD's.

He's always been a non-signer. I have his autograph on a signed check in my collection. You may want to look for one of these on Ebay.
