Celebs you've written to multiple times with no response
Who has been your hardest attempt? Is there a celebrity you adore and feel like you have to keep trying, even as the years go by with no success?
My biggest wish is to get something signed TTM by Peter Cullen, the voice of Optimus Prime. I bought an autograph off of ebay, but it's not the same. I've written to him three times since 2008 (using the addy in the database, which should work) with no luck.
So, who keeps passing you by?

Iron Maiden...written to them about 5 times via venue over 3 years and still nothing back from the full band. Hopefully the one I sent recently will end it.

Re: Celebs you've written to multiple times with no response
I've written to a couple of people twice and got the second back incredibly quickly when the first had no response, which I put down to the first getting lost.
I think that if the second didn't get a response I'd give up - there are people who just don't want to sign autographs, which they are perfectly entitled to do although from our perspective it's a bit of a downer.
I'd rather celebrate the ones I never really expected to get a response from (like Diana Rigg, Jenny Agutter, Fenella Fielding) who turn out to be much nicer than they are sometimes given credit for on places like the boards here, than waste time on people like, say, Mike Heron from the Incredible String Band who has just flat refused to sign for me IP twice... (Robin Williamson on the other hand is a delightful man and has time for everyone).
It's not through the mail, but for years I've been trying to get Roy Wood IP at gigs, and finally managed to get not one but three (!) via a member of his backing band I bumped into hanging around the stage at a recent one.
I work with a friend of someone who has recently become very very very famous, and he tells me that his famous friend's mum gives the famous person hell if she even suspects that he has been even slightly off with anyone. He's got a reputation as a poor and slow signer, but is getting several hundred requests a day, all of which he's working on, but has a backlog of thousands. There must come a point when any normal person just can't face signing stuff any more. I know I would.

I think it's strange that they don't reply after sending to them so many times.
Most Recent TTM: Clint Hill - 12/17
Most Recent IP: Ville Leino - 11/14

I've got a few on my list to keep sending to: Season Hubley, Faye Dunaway, and Diana Rigg all have recent requests out, and all have had three previous tries. Never give up!
