A little disappointed with this one. I had sent him a picture of him and Karen Gillan that she had already signed, in the hopes that he would sign it as well. I figured that since it took so long to get back that he had signed it, but I got it back sans his signature. He's a busy guy, so I might try writing to him again in the future in the hopes of a better result.

That being said, I figure his signature at least is authentic (since this seems to be the postcard he sends out to everyone) but I have no idea on the dedication. I'm thinking that it's probably secretarial (since he didn't sign the Kaz picture) but I'm not 100% sure. So what do you think of the dedication? Secretarial or authentic? Thanks so much for your input!

I got a similar postcard a few weeks back...pretty sure the sig is authentic but the dedication is secretarial (much like the postcards David Tennant sends out).

I think ONLY himself could write "thank you for your lovely letter xx"
So I think Matt wrote everything on this card for you.

It seems pretty much everyone agrees that the signature is real and the dedication is secretarial. That's what I had thought, but thank you so much for confirming it.

No envelope though. I had already pitched it.

Why? A sec can easily write the same thing.

Fantastic success!!! I absolutely love Matt Smith as the Doctor, just about as good as David Tennant. :D Yes, I believe the sig is authentic, but like many of you, I think the dedication is sec, since as one of you previously said, it looks like they were done in two different pens/markers. The dedication is thicker and darker, whereas the sig is relatively thin compared to it. Great success, anyway!! {up} :D
