SASE Question
I have a question, if you just want to send a letter with questions to a celeb, will they respond if you don't use a SASE? It just seems odd that they make so much money yet expect us ordinary people to still pay for postage. What is the reasoning behind this?
Re: SASE Question
Well just because their Rich doesn't mean they want to spend their money on us. after all Celebs are just ordinary people like us and Acting is a job to them, just like being a Plumber, Truck Driver, Firefighter ect. ect. It's a way of living for them. Their just in the public eye a LOT more than other jobs. but they still shouldn't be expected to pay postage.
By sending a SASE it shows your polite enough to want them to reply to you. Also some celebrities get thousands of letters each WEEK and for them or their assistants to take the time to address thousands of envelopes and buy postage for them all would be outrageous, considering ones for overseas which need to have special postage applied to them.
So by taking the extra 5 minutes to put one together it will greatly increase your chances of getting a reply.

Re: SASE Question
If you are asking them for a favour (autograph), it is only right that you do everything to make it easier for them, ie a SASE. Remember they are not obliged to answer any fanmail and I believe a SASE is the best way to encourage them
