Sending 8x10 photos

I'm pretty new to the hobby, I have just started learning how to send 4x6 photos in the mail for autographs. I've had a few good successes but I was hoping to send an 8x10 to some of my successes. Have never done this before, just trying to figure out the best way. Curious about sending proper postage and how to package items. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I usually send 8x10 photos and had no problems

If I send the 8X10 photo, I usually put cardboard in the large envelope for mailing it to the person. Many times they will send it back with the cardboard in it.

If I just send a large SASE and letter to the celebrity, I fold it into a smaller envelope so it costs less in postage.

As for postage, it all depends on where you are sending it from and to.

Thanks for the tips. I'm going to try Tim Allen next week since I got a success from him already.
