They advertise themselves as facilitators of authentic autographs for select celebrities. The prices are comparable to what I've seen the celebrities themselves charge at conventions. The ones for deceased celebrities are what I would expect for someone who is no longer able to sign. I do not see the same celebrities themselves selling through their own sites...and many of them don't have their own site anyway.
I emailed timem with a few questions and they answered:
* That all stock is signed in bulk by the celebrity at one time. No autopens or machine-signing
* That no personalization is available for this reason and that they are currently selling what they have left of those celebrities who have died.
* That they do not offer refunds if the signature turns out not to be authentic because the signatures are authentic and they don't need to guarantee it. They do offer COAs which I do not trust.
That last bit, I don't like. But anyway, I thought I'd give it a whirl. I've googled to see if there are any complaints about them like there are for other autograph sites, but I didn't find anything. Does anyone here have experience with purchasing autographs off of this site? Do you feel that the signatures are authentic?
