HELP! I have a very special request. :)

Dear everyone,

Two of my friends are getting married in one month... they are major cineaste/film buffs (getting married in an old movie theatre, even, which is super cool) and are both starting out in the biz... she as a performer/singer, he as an actor/writer/director.

I had an idea today for a killer wedding present for them... I had been agonizing over this for months. I want to write to as many celebrities in the biz as I can, and ask them to send something... a note of congratulations, a signed photo of congratulations, or something of the kind, so I can then compile them into an album and present them as a wedding present.

Any thoughts on how I can get this started? I am on a short time frame, unfortunately, since I just found out about this today... so if they have e-mail addresses or fax numbers that would be most helpful. I am prepared to reimburse anyone and everyone for postage, of course, but I really would love to make this happen. I think it would be the most amazing and special wedding present in the world!

That is an amazing idea for a wedding gift. The only down side is most requests take a few months. I don't know how long you have, but it doesn't sound long. You could always make this a special project and give to them as a newlywed gift.

Its a great idea,plus I don't think they will mind recieving late with all the work and effort you have put in,what are you going to collect a favorite films cast or random movie stars,I've seen some great collections of tv shows on here that have been framed,its a great gift idea and I'm thinking for making one as a Xmas present ,hope you have lots of luck
