Stephanie Meyer Help!

Unread post by twilightlover0607 »

Any help would be appreciated! I just purchased it from a seller who says he/she got it at a book signing in California.
Do you think it's authentic? Thanks in advance! If it is I got it at a great price! {up}

from what I see online it seems real! How much did you get it for?

I got the most amazing steal on it. The seller definitely had zero experience in autograph collecting and how much his/her autographs were worth. I paid $32 (with shipping) for a package of 2 signed books by Stephanie, The Host, Twilight, Breaking Dawn (all hardcover, used), and a Twilight script. I think it is authentic too :D
Any other comments?

That is a steal! Lucky! Im not sure about the second one... it looks a bit forced...no lighter parts (toward where the pen was lifted) but again judging by online photo's it looks authentic. Is it from the same seller (PM me the seller if you're comfy) I might jst like something :) )

Well, I've been to a lot of book signings and the authors have always signed on the title page. :)

And I agree with mashka! The first two seem the most authentic because they are "fast" and clear - if that makes sense. The last one is kind of odd though, because it looks as if someone was signing rather slowly and trying to get it a certain way. Idk.

The sellers aren't the same. The first one only had this one specific autograph auction up. That's why I thought they weren't autograph experts and I got it for a steal. The second one- I don't remember the seller. I bought it years a go in 2009.

I agree with both of you how the signature has more force, which makes me kind of suspicious. Thanks for your help. The funny thing is I paid about 5x as much for the second one compared to how much I got the combo above.
