Have you gotten much successes with hand writing letters?

Unread post by jam92102 »

I try to hand write what I can but my writing stinks and quite frankley I can get so many more requests out typing them. However I don't want to waste time and money if celebs won't respond. For instance I've been waiting quite a while for dakota fanning, sarah silverman, and jenna fischer. Anybody know if they only sign for hadn written letters? Does anybody have a list of celebs that will only respond to one or the other?

Thanks in advance,
Jim

Jam, ALLof mine have been handwritten. I have about 15. I dont know if it makes a difference or not though. Someone on here might respond with more knowledge than me. Hang in there.

I personally hand write all of mine, but I guess that's because my creativity struggles to flow when I'm typing things out on the computer..

(and I have gel pens with shiny bits in and I think that's pretty cool :D)
Collecting TTM since August 2012, and IP since March 2012

My autographs:
Total from TTM & IP - 112

I really believe your chances are much higher if you hand write the letters,I mean just getting the letter to the celebrity is more than half the battle but when they actually get the letter how many only respond to hand written or genuine letters as compared to unpersonal typed letters i have no idea but i know if i was a celeb i would want the letters to be hand written as opposed to typed out like a form letter lol It doesnt matter how messy your writing is as long as they can read it..You can even print its still alot better than typed. Thats my opinion anyways. {up} [ca]

Ive only had 2 successes with typed Letters

ive had lots more hand written successes over the years (so many to count)

The celeb sees you are trying by hand writing a letter.
