Not including enough postage

Unread post by Spud94 »

I sent a letter to the USA last week, and I just realised I stupidly didn't put enough postage on the SASE (I was 10 cents short). Will the celeb add extra postage for me or will my request get binned?
Thanks :)

It just depends on the celeb. Hopefully, whoever handles/sends out their mail will notice and put extra postage (or buy it at the PO). Also, sometimes your SASE or SAE won't be used and the item(s) will be sent back in something different - in which case they obviously will pay for the postage. I've had this experience with a success or two.

Does that make sense? It will probably take a little longer, but I think you will be okay. :) I'm sure it happens often.

Relief to me too.

i was running very low on US stamps so i only put three 33c stamps on my SASE (which i think is 99c) instead of 4 which would be over $1.05 which is the international postage rate.

When i didnt have any stamps i included Dollars and the couple that i have got back $2 wasnt enough and the celeb or whoever handled the mail paid extra postage.

so as posted above it depends on the celeb/who handles the mail
