I am so confused on what you mean by send them a photo, is it send them the photo that you want signed, if so does that mean you have to buy the poster. Like i said I am really confused. Oh and How big does the photo need to be. And I read another question and it got me confused as well, there needs to be two envelopes? ( one that goes to the celebrity and one that i returning) Thanks for the help

Welcome to the forum woof222! :)

The photo they recommend you send is one for the star to sign and return to you that way they don't have to try to find a good photo for you--you have already sent one. The size doesn't matter. I send smaller photos because they cost less but you can also send 8X10s or other sizes.

Here is what I do:
-I take one envelope and address it TO the celebrity. You want it large enough that everything fits--including your photo if you send one.
-Put your name and address and stamps on another envelope--a SASE--so the celebrity can use that envelope to mail everything back to you in
-Take your letter to the person, your SASE, and photo(if you chose to send one) and put it in the envelope addressed to the celebrity.

I hope I've helped. Let me know if you have any other questions. {up}

That's what I do, especially for athletes I want signed. I am very picky about the photo and clarity. I go to Google and image search the player, and make sure the image size is "Large" so I know the resolution will be great. I then print it off in 8x10 size from home and stuff it in the envelope with cardboard, letter, self addressed stamped envelope, and a Sharpie (most don't include the Sharpie, but I do for convenience for them. I figure if they're doing me a favor by signing it, the least I can do is provide the pen).

For instance, I sent to Travis Hafner, designated hitter for the Cleveland Indians baseball team. I had the photo in mind I wanted was the game my wife and I were at where he hit the walk-off grand slam. I Googled that photo in Large size, printed it off and sent it out. I think it makes the autograph more meaningful because my wife and I were actually at that game. When I sent out to Eric Church, country music singer, I Googled a Large photo from the concert my wife and I attended in April.

yes if you want a specific photo signed you should send it to them

if not they will send you whatever they have around, most of the time its a basic head shot they use for casting calls and agencys
