Should I write "Stage Door" on envelopes?

When writing to theatre addresses do I need to write "Stage Door" on envelopes?

If it's UK theatres then yes. Not sure if you're supposed to for US theatres but I've never done it and had many successes back.

I've never done it for the UK and things have always come back no problem, so I don't think it makes a huge difference.
