IRC alternatives

Hello, apologies if this has previously been answered. I am a keen collector of autographs from British celebrities. However, here in the UK, the post office tells me that IRCs (international reply coupons) have been discontinued. They can cash IRCs but they will not issue them. I would like to collect autographs from celebrities in the USA and else where, but am not sure how to do this. Has anyone got any ideas?

Really easy once you know how

Using the US as an example, you need US stamps (Bri0626 sells them in the Autograph Exchange/ Sale section of the forum) or a few £1 bills (easily obtainable from a Bank, PO or Travel Agent)

For other places, some foreign PO's will ship stamps to you (not all will send Internationally) or for say France you could send a 5EURO note.

It's also worth a look in both sections of the Autograph Exchange/Sale forum to see if anyone is offering stamps for other countries that you need.
