Hilary Duff (IP) - Book Signing

Hey guys!
Hilary Duff was doing a book signing near my work at a local book store, and I couldn't pass up the chance to go. I'm part of the generation that grew up watching her on the Disney Channel so it was so exciting to finally meet her. The book, True, dropped today, April 16th. Personally, I was surprise she chose a relatively small bookstore to promote her third book in the franchise, but I am very glad she did. Not many fans showed up - definitely no more than 150.
The signing was at 7 pm and I arrived around 6:30. There were not many people in line, but the line moved very slowly. It turns out she was taking her time with every fan. It was around 9 pm until I got my book signed.

The staff was friendly, her bodyguard was nice, and Hilary Duff was just a sweetheart. I brought her flowers and a letter. Unfortunately, we were not able to take a photo while we were with her, but we could take them while in line.

I work part-time as an instore model at Hollister.
I actually don't meet a lot of celebrities. I have only met three others this year. I only meet them at formal meet & greets like this one. I've never been one to follow celebrities. I HOPE to meet more celebrities when I attend the live tapings of DWTS, Idol & AGT later this month though.

For America's Got Talent, I know people from the NBC network. For the other live shows, you will have to join a waiting list to attend their live tapings.
