Sent 2 5x7 photos (a request for myself, and my brother), LOR and SASE to the address in the database on 5/29, and got both photos back, signed and personalized today, 9/16! I'm really happy about this, as I am a massive Star Trek fan, and Quark has always been one of my favorite characters!!!

I sent my package out on the cheap, and didn't include any cardboard to protect the photos, so he wrote, "Photos, Do not Bend" on the envelope, and included a cut out piece of a Special K! cereal box to help protect the photos.

Congrats... Wanna hear something weird, That is my special k cereal box piece of cardboard lol I sent to him months ago also and I put that piece of cardboard either in the main envelope I sent or for my return I cant remember but it is my piece of cardboard because I always cut it that shape with the corners snipped a bit so they aren't sharp and that's why it has French writing on it too because our cereal boxes here in Canada have both English and French on them. I don't know if this means he send my stuff back too or didn't send my stuff and just used my cardboard for your photos I hope it means he sent my card back because I think I used the cereal cardboard for the letter I sent as well as the sase but I cant remember. If I only used it in my sase I would have to wonder why he would take it out and use it for yours and not mine and I cant remember if I had stamps and sent a sase or not I think I probably didn't so I am probably not getting my card back.... So if you were wondering why he used a special k box piece or cardboard with French on it that was the wrong size for your photos now you know why, if you measure it opened up it should be about 4" x 9 1/4"

Goodness gracious, how funny is that!? I WAS wondering why there would be French on a cereal box where he was. That makes perfect sense, that it's actually from you, in Canada. It probably means that he was checking his fan mail all at once, and things just got mixed up. Once, Tom Hiddleston sent a personalized autograph to someone with the wrong name on it. So things do get mixed up sometimes, which isn't surprising. You may well still get your autograph back! I think he's very nice, so even if you didn't send stamps, he might still send it out to you. It may not have the cardboard insert in it, though. LOL!

Oh, and if you don't get it back, DEFINITELY try again, and try sending out some US stamps if you can. He seems pretty good about responding.

Yeah I think that might have just been the cardboard from the outer envelope because I often send a smaller envelope when I am just sending something small like a trading card which is inside that one which also has the cereal box cardboard so I don't think this was a mix up of any kind he was just recycling my cardboard from the envelope I sent and not the sase. Cereal box cardboard works great because its thin ansd light but still does the job,You should try it in the future rather than nothing at all. I am hopeful I will get back my trading card from him and it was a really awesome card so I hope so.... P.S. My piece of cardboard really gets around haha Travels more than me which doesn't seem fair lol

Yeah it already went from its original destinations to my home in Canada and then to California and then wherever you live and I think its travels are not over yet haha It will be the most traveled piece of cereal box cardboard in the world before it is done lol And P.S. I sent away for that tote mentioned on the box and my mom loves it lol Summer tote that is lol How weird would it be if someday I got that piece of cardboard back haha

Thanks and it is a grand adventure I did not plan lol.... Recycling does pay lol Its a journey really.... The tales that piece of cardboard could tell lol I used it to get the summer tote then sent it off to armin now you have it and its journey is not over lol And the cereal was good too haha

Maybe you should start having everyone you send it to sign the cereal box and see how many you can get on it.
