Envelope help!

Unread post by AutographFan13 »

I just have a quick question:

To those of you who live in the UK and send letters requesting autographs to celebrities in the UK, what kind of envelopes do you use? I usually use jiffy ones size 0 and 1, but just wondering if thats what other people use?

Also do you just use one stamp for each envelope?

Thank you in advance!

Depending the weight will depend on how many stamps to use.

Hard backed envelopes are probably ideal to avoid bending, I don't know why anyone would risk a bubble envelope unless your sending something other than a photo.

Oh, what's wrong with bubble envelopes?

I use a normal paper C5 envelope so one stamp is enough for that. Not really had anything arrive bent.

That or board backed is what you need, bubble envelopes are just not really the right thing to use on letters/ photos.

www.royal-mail.com has the information on prices and size limits {up} Or you can pick up a leaflet at your local Post Office.

Ah right thank you for help! Do you then put a folded C5 SASE inside? Last question, promise :P
