Prince William & The Duchess Of Cambridge Fun Success

Unread post by anthonydowsett »

So I thought it would be fun to invite Prince William and Kate to our wedding in September.
Obviously I wasn't expecting them to come but it was very nice to receive a very prompt reply from their secretary at Kensington Palace.

Sent March 5th and received 17th March.

Despite getting my surname wrong (should be Dowsett) and a very poorly grammatically written letter, it's a nice momentum to have :-) :-)

I do not see anything wrong with the grammar but maybe that is because I am not an English teacher but I can tell you I see something wrong with yours. It's MEMENTO!!!!! MOMENTUM Means Movement. MEMENTO Means Keepsake, which I am sure is what you meant. I doubt that you mean your Rejection Letter from one of their many, many secretaries is a nice Movement to have. "Yes Pot, that Kettle is Black!"

Oh silly me. What a silly spelling mistake from myself. Thanks for the correction :-)

Obviously I know it has came from one of their many aides, but there are quite a few mistakes which you wouldn't expect in a letter coming from the Palaces including the initial "Mr.Mr.Mcmillan".

As the heading states it was a "fun success".

Anyway thanks for you feedback :-)

Lol I just thought it was hilarious and ironic is all. My comment came across different than I intended it to. I didn't read it before I posted it. I wasn't being rude, I was joking. And I actually think this is a pretty unique and cool success. Just thought it was funny with the grammar thing is all.

Lol don't worry. It was all down to posting using my phone and not checking the dreaded predictive text. Lesson learnt on my side :-)
