Does anyone know...

Does anyone know any NFL or NHL players that answer their fanmail sent to the arena address? What are your successes through sending it to the arena?

I have gotten:
Brett Favre (autographed trading card) - Packers QB
Joey Galloway(autographed trading Card)- Tampa Bay WR
Tom Brady (PP picture, returned my card)- Patriots QB
Peyton Manning (PP picture) - Colts QB
Shaun Alexander (contacted him through an email, real signature)- Seattle RB
Life's real failure is when you do not realize how close you were to success when you gave up.

My son and I wrote to ten different goalies last year and only got a reply from the Devils Martin Brodeur. Supposedly, hockey players are pretty good about it, but we haven't had much success yet. Brodeur sent a preprint along with some stickers, a pocket calendar and a window decal. He also doesn't use your SASE to reply.

Right now we're waiting for a reply from Brian Rolston of the Wild. I know players are awesome for autographs in person. We went to a Wild game and had a sign that said "my first pro game" that my 4 year old held and they gave him a puck Rolston used to score in the second. That was pretty cool.

I hope that helps a little.

I forgot to mention that basically the only way to contact hockey players is through the arena addresses, unless you can get ahold of their personal addresses. You can find the fan mail addresses under the "Kids" link at nhl.com. Just click on "write a player."
